Australian at last

Well, here I am in the great Down Under. I've been having massive issues with posting pictures online, and so far have only managed to get a few up of sights around the city and the University. Click above groovy picture to visit. I'm in the middle of uploading pictures from the field (including some native Aussie wildlife), but those aren't finished yet. Argh. Things should hopefully be better once we get internet at home and I don't have to deal with crazy firewalls and stuff at work. Plus, I can get some work done at work, which would be nice.
But in other news, Australia is fantastic! It's amazing how much the outdoor landscape reminds me of parts of Texas. Scrubby vegetation, flat open vistas, dry creek washes. However, the similarity is shattered when kangaroos or cockatoos whiz by. It truly is a different continent, fancy that.
I hope to get the remainder of the photos up soon. Have patience, my Northern Hemispheric friends.
