I was recently contacted by a website called Schmap.com who had apparently been trolling for photos on Flickr. The modus operandi of the site is to provide interactive maps and guides for cities using people's uploaded pictures of various locations. Apparently they found this unassuming photo I took of the Australian Antarctic Division in Tasmania, complete with ship, and wanted to include in in their latest Hobart Guide. I said yes, and now you can BARELY find my photo on their website. Odd, but gratifying in a minor way. So you see folks, upload hundreds and hundreds of pictures online and eventually one will gain minor noteriety.
Schmap Hobart Guide: Museums.
And yes, I realize I just totally and shamelessly plugged their website. So sue me.
